Airport Parking Discount Codes

Airport Parking costs have gone through the roof and in some cases we have seen costs double over the past few months.

As many of you already know, QuickPark Car Park closed during COVID and looks like they will never reopen. Parking has become increasingly difficult, especially at peak times like weekends, or coming up to the Summer holidays. The closure of the QuickPark facility with 3,500 spaces, has added to the problem - not sure how the summer demand is going to impact on the remaining spaces.

But the most asked question is… will Dublin Airport reopen those 3,500 spaces?? Unless something happens, the demand over the coming weekends and over the summer months will outweigh the supply.

The DAA manages 18,500 car parking spaces across the campus. Dublin Airport has blamed increasing demand and the closure of the QuickPark, privately run car park for the increase in parking charges in recent months. Prices rise as of the demand. So if you are planning to travel over the Bank Holiday / over the Summer months, I would advise to pre-book your parking in advance, there are savings to be made in comparison to gate prices. Also travelling by public transport is another alternative to save on parking costs.

I noticed it over the Easter holidays, the cost of parking was just crazy. I decided because of travelling with the three kids, we got a lift to the airport, when we flew over to London. If you are going to the airport, I would suggest to either organise a lift with someone or use public transport. If those options are not available, keep reading below on ways to save, using other parking options and discount codes.

Here’s how:

Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport: Click here Get a 10% discount on Dublin Airport parking using the Discount code CLAYTON2022. The code CLAYTON2022 applies to every park and fly offer at Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport and to the hotel’s non-residents.

I contacted Clayton Hotel & they replied with the following information:

“If you have a booking in the hotel, you can save up to 40% on parking (example = 9 days parking is €112 parking only or €67.50 when booked with the room)”.

The Holiday Inn Dublin:

Airport: €10 per 24 hours with free shuttle* bus every 15 minutes. *I need to find out about the shuttle bus if its still running*

Their website says: “Book overnight accommodation, with parking and enjoy the free shuttle to Dublin Airport that runs from 4.00 am to 00.20 am. Departure - Zone 16 in front of the Airport. Kids, eat and stay free* with parents. Subject to availability.” Click here for more information

Another option I have recently come across is Looking4.com which appears to offer parking by searching in nearby hotels.

Looking4.com: Up to 20% airport parking use discount code EMSUIE19 . Can cancel up to 48 hours prior to travel.

**Just be careful as not all 'airport' hotels are as close as they seem so you are relying on shuttle buses that may not be that frequent (and the airport isn't within walking distance).

  • 10% off with code OLSC2020, may not work all dates.

(for the second code, it wouldn't accept it on the first booking page, when I went through to checkout to pay I had another box called voucher code where it was accepted!)

Shannon airport: Try code PARK4LESS20

Other option is using HOPPA website, check it out here.

They compare 1000s of transport providers. They search choices like taxis, car hire and airport transfers, while also searching and comparing the best deals. If you looking for the cheapest airport transfers / shuttle services, they compare a wide selection of vehicle options and suppliers…. Hoppa is the transfer comparison site for you, helping you find whatever you need. Link here to the website

Airside Airport Parking - €4.10 Per Day

I received a message on Instagram recommending PNP, a company based in Swords. She got 8 days of parking for €32. Check it out here

Hope the above helps you save a few euro on your airport parking. Please bookmark this post to look back on. I will update this blog post when I find out any more discount codes or alternative ways to park at reduced rate near to the airport.
